Part 126: monZphere's Service Tree

What's up, home? part 126 cover image

As I will be a speaker at the Zabbix Summit 2025, I've been busy building stuff for it; also had a summer holiday in July. Sorry for the long silence! Anyway, let's move on to today's topic.

MonZphere is cooking something really cool.

For those who do not know, monZphere develops custom Zabbix modules, both open-source and commercial plugins. I have blogged about monZphere few times before, but this Service Tree module definitely deserves a blog post. I got an early access to this module to test it within my home Zabbix you all know by now; I believe the module will be available to public after it still matures a bit.

Service Tree

Service Tree provides alternative view to Zabbix Services, or Business Services Monitoring. This smoothly animated clickable map is super cool!

For those of you who don't some reason like maps but love tables, Service Tree also provides you a nice little table. As this is an early access version, the table has its quirks but already looks good! Compared to built-in Zabbix Services / SLA view, this kind of combines both of them, cranking much more info into this table in a compact yet readable format. Well done!
